This event, co-organised by the Centre for Critical Thinking and Ethics and the Association for Philosophy in Schools NSW, is an opportunity for like-minded Year 9-10 students from schools across NSW to get together for a day of collaborative inquiry. Students participate in small, diverse groups focused on critical and creative conceptual activities and community of inquiry discussions, led by FAPSA-trained facilitators. This event affords participating teachers the chance to access mentorship by FAPSA teacher-educators in facilitation techniques and strategies to build capacity in using the philosophy in schools pedagogy.
This is an annual event, open to all and free of charge to member schools of the Association of Philosophy in Schools NSW. (Contact the Association for your discount code.)
Please note:
- Organising teachers will assist throughout the day to run conceptual activities with mixed groups.
- This event is catered for teachers only; students must self-cater.
In 2026 this event will be held on 1 September 2026.
